1. Introduction

AeroPDF provides a suite of PDF and image utilities that run entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or access your files at any point. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, and how we protect your privacy.

2. No File Uploads – 100% Local Processing

AeroPDF processes all files directly on your device using technologies such as WebAssembly and optimized in-browser computation. Your PDFs and images never leave your device.

• No temporary storage
• No access to your documents — ever

3. Personal Data We Collect

AeroPDF does not collect personal data unless you voluntarily provide it. Limited data may be collected only through:

• Feedback Forms: name, email, and message (submitted manually).
• Contact Forms: information you choose to enter.
• Analytics: anonymized usage metrics to monitor performance.

We never collect sensitive data, passwords, or document content.

4. Cookies & Tracking

AeroPDF uses only essential cookies, including:

• Theme preference (light/dark)
• Performance caching
• Preventing repeated banners or pop-ups

We use no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site profiling.

5. Third-Party Services

AeroPDF may use trusted services to improve performance and support:

• Google Analytics (anonymous mode)
• Google AdSense (if ads are enabled)
• FormSubmit (handles contact/feedback messages)
• Frankfurter API (public daily exchange-rate data for the Currency Center)

None of these services have access to your files, and all follow strong privacy standards. The Currency Center requests are limited to the currency data described in section 6 below.

6. Currency Center & Exchange-Rate Data

The Currency Center (including the Currency Converter, historical rates, comparison, and fee calculator) retrieves public daily exchange-rate data and currency metadata from the Frankfurter API (https://api.frankfurter.dev). There is no AeroTools backend involved in these tools.

• What is sent: the currency codes (and, for a conversion, the amount) needed to perform the requested lookup. No personal data is sent.
• What is stored locally: successful responses are cached in your browser (localStorage) with timestamps so repeat visits are fast. Metadata caches expire after about 7 days, daily rates after 24 hours, and historical series after 30 days. You can clear your browser storage at any time.
• What is not collected: AeroTools does not see, store, or sell your currency inputs or conversion history.
• Reference data: the rates shown are daily reference rates, not real-time forex prices. A reference rate is not the rate a bank or remittance provider will necessarily give you.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not store documents or personal data by default, no retention occurs. Information submitted through forms may be stored by third-party form services, depending on your configuration.

8. Security Measures

AeroPDF follows modern security best practices:

• Full HTTPS encryption
• JavaScript sandboxing
• Strict Content Security Policies (CSP)
• Frequent vulnerability scanning

9. Children’s Privacy

AeroPDF is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. The latest version will always be available on this page.
